? What is sarrus wood

It is a famous Egyptian tree called Al-Samta or Al-Sarsu, which grows only in Africa. It is native to Aswan and Kom Ombo in Upper Egypt.
Sarsus trees have very distinctive features, with a tree height of about 25 meters and a lower trunk circumference of about 180 cm.
Sarrus wood is distinguished by its durability, beautiful colors, and flexibility in transforming raw wood into exquisite, perfectly smooth products that will last a lifetime.
Sarrus wood is usually dried before it is used in the manufacture of furniture, a process known as quenching. Locally, it is left in open areas to dry under the sun for six months.
The color of the heartwood is gradual from dark brown to pale brown
